Emmanuel reaches the Last 8 at the Veteran World Championships

Emmanuel Therond has reached the Last 8 of the Veterans World Championships in Daytona, Florida.

Emmanual sadly lost out to Frenchman Olivier Esquerre with a final score of 6 – 10.

A hard-fought fight with an initial advantage going to Olivier. Emmanual fought back with some stunning parries but alas it was not quite enough to overcome him. Emmanuel finishes 7th Overall in the Vet-50 Men’s Sabre.

Christmas Holiday Closing: The last night of fencing is Tuesday 16th December. The club reopens on Monday 5th January. Happy holidays.

We are closed on May Bank Holidays Monday 4th May and Monday 25th May due to venue closure. We are open as normal on Tuesdays during May.

Junior class on Tuesday 25th June is cancelled. Otherwise, the club is open as normal.

No fencing 1st June to 9th June for moving to the new sports hall. First day back is 15th June.
