The course covers the basics of fencing footwork; the principles of fencing with the epee; blade work techniques; practice ’bouts’, and an introduction to fencing using electronic scoring equipment. The course is led by Kate Smith, former British Champion (Senior and Veteran) and GB and England fencer, and Level 3 Coach.
Depending on the numbers, it may be one-to-one or in a small group.
