Says Ceri: “Went on to lose the Hampshire Vets sabre final to Rubin on Sunday but I managed to get in a few good hits in the first half. The parry-riposte on the back line is probably the best one (I don’t often get applause for a hit), but I was almost as pleased with the counter parry-riposte on the next one…that’s me on the left!”
