A weekend of drama for the mighty House of Sabre fencers, with our very own George Suddards left the last man standing. He fought tooth and nail to win silver at the 2022 Welsh Open in Cardiff. Congratulations to Mo Mansoori who took the top Veteranโ€™s prize at 27th out of 56 top fencers. A big shout out to all of the other House of Sabre competitors; Carl Morris, Lucy Wright, Richard Barnes-Webb, Rubin Nash & a special big up to Ceri Thomas whose plans to compete were scuppered by a broken down car en route to Cardiff- you live to fight another day!ย Bravo super sabreurs, bravo!

Christmas Holiday Closing: The last night of fencing is Tuesday 16th December. The club reopens on Monday 5th January. Happy holidays.

We are closed on May Bank Holidays Monday 4th May and Monday 25th May due to venue closure. We are open as normal on Tuesdays during May.

๐Ÿ˜Ž We are open as usual during the summer. Visitors welcome. Visitor passes are available in the Shop.

Visitor Pass

The club is closed on Monday 25th August for Bank Holiday. Open as usual on Tuesday 27th August.

Junior class on Tuesday 25th June is cancelled. Otherwise, the club is open as normal.

No fencing 1st June to 9th June for moving to the new sports hall. First day back is 15th June.

Club is closed on Monday 6th April 2026 for Easter bank holiday. Open as usual on Tuesday 7th April.
